Hawaii Aloha Travel relies heavily on inbound trip requests from their website. Their original trip planner was difficult to complete on mobile and did not clearly guide visitors through the process.

Because the planner is the primary way travelers request itinerary help, friction in the form experience was limiting how many potential clients completed the process.

Our Approach

We focused on improving the user experience of the trip planner by simplifying the form flow and making the process easier for travelers researching Hawaii vacations. The goal was to reduce friction, guide visitors step by step, and increase the number of completed travel inquiries.

Reduced Form Friction

Unnecessary fields were removed or simplified to reduce abandonment and keep users moving through the planner. Also added important fields to help quality leads more efficiently.

The Results

After launch, the redesigned planner generated 7,800+ trip planner submissions, becoming one of the primary drivers of new travel inquiries.
